What is the status of the drinking water supply on St. Eustatius?
On St. Eustatius the water supply of Stuco is intact and is being distributed since Tuesday, September 11th. There is a constant stock for about 4 days.

Are the banks and ATM’s operational?
ATM’s and banks on Statia are open.

How big is the diesel stock on Saba?

There is enough diesel in stock for about 7 weeks of electricity production. There is also arranged with Nustar that they will provide the emergency services with diesel if necessary.

Does the emergency medical air bridge between Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire work?
Saba Health Care Foundation informed that there is a medical emergency air bridge established between Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire. In case of emergency the air ambulance can fly from Bonaire to St. Eustatius. The medical evacuation helicopters stationed on St. Eustatius can transport acute patients of Saba to St. Eustatius form where the air ambulance will transport them to Fundashon Mariadal on Bonaire or other hospitals in the region.

Will there be additional support from police and fire fighters on Saba and St. Eustatius?
On Tuesday, September 12th, 5 police officers and 13 firefighters from Bonaire have traveled to the Windward Islands to offer support and to relay colleagues. They will stay 1 to 2 weeks on the island to provide support.

In the social media there is fuss over a video message claiming that families have been sent away from the Divi Resort in St. Maarten so militaries can be accommodated. Is this information true?
The owner of the Divi Resort has offered to house the military. This offer was greatly appreciated given the housing problematic. Agreements were made in advance that the housing of the military in no way should lead to the sending away of people who are staying in the resort and have lost everything. That is precisely the opposite of which the military are on site. They are there to support and give emergency assistance to the population. The military leadership on St. Maarten has been in contact today with the management to confirm this. The management has given a statement that no one has been sent away by or for the military.
